The 38.4-metre motor yacht Le Montrachet has been sold with Leonce Richard of Worth Avenue Yachts and Grace Zeilmann of Grace Zeilmann Yacht Group representing the seller, and Romero Andrade of BR Marine Group introducing the buyer.
Le Montrachet was delivered in 1986 by American shipyard Broward Marine, constructed in aluminium to an in-house design from the yard. Meanwhile, her interior was designed by Robert M. Farinacci and Richard Hein. 30 years after her delivery, in 2016, the 38.4-metre underwent an extensive refit, which included the addition of modern twin Caterpillar C32 engines. Further upgrades were completed in 2023, including fresh antifoul paint and the installation of two new transformers.
The onboard living areas of Le Montrachet are enviable for yachts of the same size. An expansive main saloon spreads across her main deck, complete with multiple seating areas, a bar and a centrally-placed piano. Forward, a near double-height formal dining room features a grand dining table for 10, with an elevated "catwalk" showcasing wine storage which overlooks the area. Continuing upward, a curved staircase offers direct access to the sky lounge and pilothouse above.
Accommodation is for 10 guests in a five-cabin layout, in addition to quarters for a crew of five. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising two twin cabins and two doubles, accessible via a central main staircase in the main saloon. Meanwhile, forward of the main saloon is a private stairway which leads to the owner's suite, complete with a sofa space, dressing table and an en suite with a bathtub.
Exterior deck spaces include a notably spacious sundeck with several sunpads, a wet bar and an al fresco dining table, as well as a large aft deck with a BBQ and alternative sheltered dining space. The sporty flybridge up top also features sofas for lounging during cruising.
The motor yacht is powered by twin 1,600hp Caterpillar engines, providing a top speed of 15 knots, a cruising speed of 11 knots and a range of 2,800 nautical miles. Key specs include a volume of 256 GT, a draught of 1.98 metres and a 7.3-metre beam.
Le Montrachet was last asking $1,900,000.
