John Cohen at Merle Wood & Associates tells me that his listing for sale with Cromwell Littlejohn, 40.23m motor yacht Monte Carlo, is sold with Kent Chamberlain at Chamberlain Yachts representing the buyer.

Built by the Dutch superyacht yard Amels to a design by Diana Yacht Design, she was delivered in 1988. Monte Carlo accommodates up to 10 guests in a master suite, VIP stateroom, double and twin and also has a sofa bed in the large skylounge. The master suite is full beam and the VIP stateroom on the main deck can serve as a second master. All staterooms have en suite bathrooms.

She had a complete interior refit supervised by Claudette Bonville in 2006 with updated mechanical systems and was most recently upgraded in 2014. Monte Carlo has been well maintained by a series of knowledgeable yacht owners who have all spent money when needed. Twin 1,550hp MTU engines give her a range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10.8 knots.

Monte Carlo was asking $3,950,000.
