The 49 metre Christensen motor yacht Chasseur has been listed for sale by Wes Sanford and Sean Doyle at Northrop & Johnson.
Built in GRP by US yard Christensen to an in-house design, Chasseur was delivered in 2016, receiving the prestigious Judges’ Special Award for Achievement at the World Superyacht Awards 2017. Her contemporary design, by Varo Interior Design, is unfettered by extraneous decoration, accommodating 12 guests in six cabins comprising a master suite, VIP suite and four doubles. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, television screens and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep 10 crew.
Chasseur’s spaces strike a balance between minimalism and modernism that takes full advantage of the natural light streaming through vast expanses of glass on the main and bridge decks. Throughout the boat, the watchword is rectilinear. Lines are clean and spare, shapes geometric.
Formal dining in the main deck saloon is a true experience at the magnificent Armani custom table; the gorgeous china sliding door panels in shell with chrome borders are the perfect backdrop and close off the area for privacy. The gently curved stairwell is a sculptural work of art showcasing floating glass treads with woven leather walls.
The substantial sky lounge and sun deck bars feature backlit crystal agate and mirrored glass and are ideal social gathering spots. Al fresco dining is offered in two places on the bridge deck aft while the sun deck features a large centreline Jacuzzi tub, sun pads, barbecue, sun loungers and bar - ideal for both entertaining and relaxing.
Her top speed is 16 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 4,000 nautical miles at 12 knots with power coming from two 1,650hp Caterpillar 3512-C diesel engines.
Chasseur is asking $30,995,000.
