The 28.6-metre sailing yacht Savarona has received a price reduction of €590,000, listed for sale by Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage.
The performance world lifting keel cruiser was penned by naval architect Philippe Cabon, while Frank Darnet designed her interiors. The sailing yacht for sale was custom built in aluminium by French yard Construction Navale Bordeaux (CNB). She has undergone several refits since being delivered in 2001, most notably a $1.5M procedure in 2015 and more recently in 2021 in Ciotat, France.
Accommodation is for up to six guests in three cabins. Her main saloon boasts a dining table, alongside a well-equipped galley, opposite a lounging area. The dark wood interiors benefit from windows in hull and coachroof providing an abundance of natural light.
On deck, her guest cockpit offers al fresco dining space for a party of up to 10, with further comfortable seating found towards the stern.
The broker said that Savarona’s outstanding seaworthiness capability was illustrated during an Atlantic crossing in 2017. Sailing over 4,000 nautical miles at an average speed of 9.2 knots, the yacht encountered a ‘force nine’ storm with winds of up to 50 knots and came out unscathed.
Under power, a single Caterpillar diesel engine provides the yacht for sale with a top speed of 11 knots and a cruising speed of nine knots.
Savarona is now asking €1,200,000.
