Built in GRP by Thailand’s Concorde yard to a design by Farr Yacht Design, Ocean Pure 2 was delivered in 1992 as part of the yard’s family of Mirabella charter yachts. She was built as a bluewater cruiser and joined the market following a multi-million-euro refit completed in 2019. Work included a full refurbishment of her engines and gearboxes, new generators and shafts, and an inspection and upgrade of her mast, rigging and sails.
Ocean Pure 2 is one of just a few sailing yachts in its size class that offers a five-cabin configuration. Within her 225GT, she can accommodate up to 11 guests and is well set up for charter with a master suite, two identical VIP suites, two twin cabins plus another guest cabin with upper and lower beds, all with en suite bathrooms.
The yacht’s bridge is an enclosed area surrounded by large windows, providing a perfect view of the ocean regardless of the weather. Down the stairs forward is a comfortable saloon to port and dining area to starboard.
She has a spacious aft deck sheltered by a Bimini top that has proved to be a popular spot for al fresco dining. Other amenities include a sauna and gymnasium below deck.
As part of her 2019 refit work, her interior and exterior decks were revamped with new furnihsings, a new cockpit layout and an upgraded audiovisual system.
Under power, a 500hp Yanmar engine allows a top speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 10 knots, while a range of 2,500 nautical miles is possible.
Ocean Pure 2 is now asking €5,200,000 with VAT paid.
