52m CRN superyacht Ciao sold

9 February 2023 • Written by Nick Jeffery

The 52-metre superyacht Ciao has been sold in a multiple broker deal with Royal Yacht International and Christie Yachts representing the buyer and Kitson Yachts the seller. Ocean Independence was a central agent.

Delivered in July 2022, the all-aluminium yacht was built by CRN in Italy and joined the market in as-new condition.

Ciao was asking €32,900,000

Technical features include a 3,500 nautical mile range at 10 knots and a gross tonnage just shy of 500 GT. A fast displacement hull form, combined with twin Caterpillar engines, give her a top speed in excess of 18 knots.

Accommodation is for ten guests across a five-cabin layout, with a main deck owner’s suite and four VIP cabins on the lower deck.

Exterior design comes from British studio Omega Architects, while interiors are by Italian firm Studio Massari. A plumb bow and long lines of glazing lend her a modern profile, which is matched by a contemporary interior.

The yacht is home to a generous, light-filled main saloon with hull-height windows, limed wood and a cool colour palette that is warmed up by red accents.

This theme extends into her skylounge, which is fitted out as a miniature cinema room with a large screen and sofa seating.

On the exterior, the yacht volunteers a selection of dining and winding areas including a shaded aft deck dining arrangement that is perfect for casual meals or breakfast.

Elsewhere, the sundeck offers a Jacuzzi, sunloungers, a bar area and an additional table set-up. Tender storage is tucked away neatly in the foredeck area.

One of the highlights on board Ciao is her beach club, which has been conceived as a waterfront lounge complete with an overwater balcony, TV area and wellness zone with shower and Hammam.

CRN described the yacht as a "tailor-made creation with a strong artisanal stamp”. She hit the water at Ferretti Group’s Ancona facilities at the end of May 2022.

Ciao was asking €32,900,000.
