The 42.64 metre CRN motor yacht Sofico, listed for sale by Nord Star Yachting, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Benjamin Bensahel of Camper & Nicholsons International.
Built in GRP by Italy's CRN yard to a design by Zuccon International, Sofico was delivered in 2009 and had a major refit in 2013. She has a vast interior volume, similar to a 50 metre yacht, and accommodates 11 guests in four doubles and a twin cabin with a Pullman berth. All cabins have full en suite bathroom facilities and a special feature is a balcony in the master suite, perfect for private breakfasts at sea.
Her interior features Canaletto walnut and natural cherry wood panelling along with parquet floors inlaid with silk carpeting. A large saloon has comfortable seating, a bar and entertainment centre while forward is a dining area with formal seating for 10 guests.
Sofico’s sky lounge, equipped with a piano and entertainment centre, offers another relaxation area and has wonderful views. Surprisingly, this room is as large as the main saloon. A gym and sauna are housed in the stern with access to the sea thanks to a stern hatch that converts into a swim platform. Twin Caterpillar C-32C engines give her a range of 3,800 nautical miles at 11 knots.
