I know that Bill Sanderson in the Palm Beach office of Camper & Nicholsons International is a very busy man, so decide that this is a good time to pester him for news. Patiently he tells me that he has signed the 32.59m sailing yacht Dance Smartly for sale. From her very conception she was designed to be a superior yacht and was launched by Palmer Johnson in 1992 to become an instant classic, renowned for her build quality and attention to detail. Bill has been joined in the office by a new team member, Bob O’Brien, who’s introduced two new listings to the company, Cloud X and Cortina. Built in 2002, the 37.5m Cloud X is an unusual offering in that she’s a SWATH ex-fast passenger ferry. However, with an 18 metre beam, she has huge deck spaces and could be converted to a fast, spacious superyacht.
Cortina, meanwhile is more conventional, being a 30.5m Broward built in 2001 and accommodating up to 10 guests. Further along the coast Georges Bourgoignie in the Fort Lauderdale office lists the 41.5m Philosophy for sale. Built by Brooke Yachts in 1991 and refitted in 2003, she sleeps 10 guests in five cabins.
