Talking with Josh Gulbranson of Fraser Yachts in Fort Lauderdale, he gives me more details of his latest signing, Delta Marine's 38m superyacht Aerie.
Delivered in 2001, the superyacht went back to the Delta yard for a major refit in March 2009, with work including a new audio visual system in HD, Vsat, at-anchor stabilisers and a complete repaint. Aerie means 'eagle's nest' and designer Jonathan Quinn Barnett used this theme for the interior, incorporating articles and materials of different kinds, textures and tones to create a roost from which to explore the world.
Accommodating eight guests in four staterooms, Aerie is asking $13.9 million and will be available to view at the Fraser Yachts Las Olas display during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
