The 40-metre sailing yacht Valquest has been listed for sale with Roccabella Yachts following a 2025 refit.
Designed throughout by Dubois Naval Architects and built by Bloemsma & Van Breemen, Valquest was delivered in 2009 as a completely custom fast cruising sloop. She was last sold in 2020.
The elongated and aerodynamic profile of Valquest is accentuated by her "striking silver metallic hull, elegantly low-profile wheelhouse and impeccably designed decks", according to her broker.
Inside, she can accommodate up to nine guests in four cabins comprising a full-beam master suite with a walk-in wardrobe, two double cabins, and one twin cabin, each with en suite facilities.
Valquest's interiors are adorned in high-gloss mahogany wood, cleverly contrasted with bright white leather accents. Her split-level main saloon feels bright and airy as a result, complemented with several windows to provide an "expansive, light-filled space", according to her broker, perfect for relaxed entertaining and dining.
On deck, the sheltered cockpit offers al fresco dining, while sun loungers and a shaded lounge can be found on the foredeck, perfect for enjoying the surrounding vistas.
Valquest was constructed for long-range cruising and offers substantial fuel reserves, clever storage solutions and advanced sailing technology. She is equipped with dual headstays, a roll-away boom, captive winches and hydraulically controlled running backstays. Meanwhile, twin-prow anchors enhance mooring versatility, allowing for effortless anchorage.
A single Caterpillar engine offers a top speed of 14 knots and a range of 3,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots.
Valquest is asking €12,000,000, currently lying in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
