Price drop on expedition yacht Spirit of Romo

12 May 2022• Written by Tom McGhie

The 25.46 metre expedition yacht Spirit of Romo, listed for sale with Yachting Partners International, has had a price reduction of €300,000.

Built in steel by Danish yard Svenborg Skibs to an in-house design, she was delivered in 1973 and spent the first part of her life cruising the Danish coastline and Arctic sea. In 2018 she was rebuilt by Dutch yard Scheepswerf Talma to become a rugged yet luxurious expedition yacht. Functional and neutrally designed, the four-cabin accommodation layout includes an owner’s suite, two doubles and a twin room with bunk beds, and all with full en suite facilities.

Spirit of Romo is now asking €1,650,000

The communal spaces include a light, formal dining space and kitchen-bar area for serving drinks and enjoying a morning coffee. A comfortable lounge area in the main saloon has ample seating for guests with access to the aft deck.

When cruising in sunnier climes, meals can be enjoyed outside thanks to her al fresco dining space. Her boat deck, meanwhile, offers further deck space complete with deck chairs and seating.

Other key features on board this yacht for sale include a fully equipped galley with direct access to the main deck saloon, while tenders can be stored and deployed from on her foredeck.

A single CUMMINS QSK19-M, 750HP main engine affords her a 2,800 nautical mile range at 10.5 knots.

Spirit of Romo is now asking €1,650,000.
