The 49.68 metre Feadship motor yacht Blu 470, listed for sale by Tommaso Chiabra at Royal Yacht International, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Andrew Bond of Fraser.
Blu 470 was built in steel and aluminium by Dutch superyacht yard Feadship, with delivery in 1990. She has been impeccably maintained ever since, including a major refit in 2014 plus further upgrades in 2019.
A very successful charter yacht, her Patrick Knowles interior accommodates 10 guests in five cabins including a master suite on the main deck with a queen sized bed. Ideal for charter by a group of couples, her lower decks include three double cabins with queen sized beds and a new twin cabin, all with flat screen televisions, Kaleidescape on-demand audio and visual access, and en-suite facilities. In addition, there are quarters for 11 crew.
Blu 470 has a large, comfortable saloon with tasteful new furniture, antiques and oil paintings. Forward is a formal dining area with seating for 10 guests. Al fresco entertaining and dining is available on upper aft deck, which offers a substantial space with a wet bar and dining for 10 guests. Further outdoor entertainment is available on the sun deck with amenities including a wet bar, spa pool, comfortable sun pads and lounge chairs.
Twin Caterpillar 900hp diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 12 knots and she is fitted with zero-speed stabilisers.
Blu 470 was asking €14,000,000.
