First 36m Pershing GTX116 sold to American owner

The first hull in Pershing's all-new 36 metre GTX116 sports yacht series has been sold by Sean Fenniman at Allied Marine.

Revealed for the first time at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2022, the yacht is set to be built by Pershing as the first in its new range of flybridge sports yachts. Construction is due to commence in summer 2022. 

According to Ferretti Group, the GTX series is "set to revolutionise the sports yacht concept and establish unprecedented standards of cruising pleasure." 

The series is an evolution of the builder's X series and positions itself in the 24 to 40 metre segment of the market. It has a "new style" but still remains inherently Pershing with its slender profile and silver hull.

Although details about the new model remain slim, several of Pershing’s hallmarks will feature including a focus on liveability and close contact with the water, alongside performance and comfort. 

The GTX116's price was withheld.
