Hakvoort motor yacht Solaia for sale

The 40 metre motor yacht Solaia has been listed for sale by Dennis Frederiksen and Neal Esterly at Fraser.
With naval architecture by Diana Yacht Design,Solaia was styled inside and out by Felix Buytendijk and built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Hakvoort to Lloyds class with delivery in 2001 and a refit in 2016. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins comprising a main deck master suite, double and two twins. All guest cabins have entertainment centres, flatscreen television sets and en suite bathroom facilities while the crew quarters sleep seven staff aboard this yacht for sale.
In the lounge area of the main saloon, a comfortable seating area surrounds a coffee table facing the centre separation panel where a large plasma television screen is located. Forward in the main salon, the dining table provides seating for eight guests and is partially open to the lounge but can be separated by sliding doors for added privacy. On the starboard side is a passage to the master suite and to the foyer leading to the elevator and guest cabins.
On the sun deck are two built-in pilot chairs facing forward for observation. On the port and starboard sides are two half-circle sofas, each with a table seating six guests. Under the radar arch and the fixed hardtop is the bar area which hosts a sink, fridge, barbecue and a dumb waiter, as well as ample storage space. Her top speed is 14.5 knots and she boasts a maximum cruising range of 8,400 nautical miles at 10 knots with power coming from two 730hp Caterpillar 3412-C-DITA diesel engines.
Lying in Newport Beach, California, Solaia is asking $10,500,000.
