26m Jongert sailing yacht Scarena sold

The 26-metre sailing yacht Scarena has been sold in-house by Sean McCarter of Northrop & Johnson, who represented both buyer and seller.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Jongert to a design by Doug Peterson, Scarena was delivered in 1995 and refitted substantially twice since, also recently completing a five-year survey. The Jongert 2900M has a pear wood and teak interior by Peter Sijm, accommodating eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite and three twins. Crew are accommodated in two cabins.

Scarena was asking €1,600,000

The teak-panelled saloon separates the crew and guest accommodation, and comes with comfortable seating opposite a dining area. Above deck, she offers twin cockpits, a large sunbathing area and a semi-enclosed deck saloon with a push-button sliding hard top.

Her hydraulically operated garage features a bathing platform, offering easy access to the water. Under power, a 345hp Mercedes MTU diesel engine gives her a range of 1,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of nine knots.

Scarena was asking €1,600,000.
