A $3,100,000 price drop has been announced on the 61.3-metre Lürssen motor yacht Marguerite, listed for sale with Rory Moran of Moran Yacht & Ship.
Originally named Phoenix, she was built in steel and aluminium by German yard Lürssen to Lloyd's class with exterior and interior styling by Winch Design. She was built in 2004 under the supervision of the Moran new construction team – her design brief required a private owner’s area, professional dive centre, capacious tender storage and the ability to cruise for thirty days at a time.
Marguerite had a full interior refit after a change in ownership at the end of 2021. Accommodation is for 12 guests in six large cabins consisting of a two-deck owner's apartment with an observation lounge, access to a private foredeck and a floating staircase that leads to an upper deck study.
She also has five queen-sized guest cabins with their own sophisticated decorative schemes and marble bathrooms. Two of the cabins can be linked together to make an additional VIP suite. There are quarters for a crew of 17.
The large sundeck has a ten-person Jacuzzi with a dedicated insulated storage tank, allowing the tub to be emptied and refilled with immediate hot water. This area also features sunloungers for twelve guests. The superstructure here has been significantly reinforced to permit the landing and take off of a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter.
Forward on this deck is the bridge which is equipped with state-of-the-art navigation equipment. Seating for four guests is located aft of the control station with a chart and navigation station located behind the seats.
Twin 2,364hp MTU engines give the 1,444GT yacht for sale a cruising speed of 15 knots and a range of 7,700 nautical miles.
