An in-build 50 metre Mangusta Oceano motor yacht named Project Monaco has been sold by Moran Yacht & Ship.
Construction on the Alberto Mancini-designed yacht is currently underway at the Overmarine shipyard in Italy and is on track for “an on-time and in-budget delivery” according to the broker. The Mangusta Oceano 50 will be built with a full displacement steel hull with accommodation for 12 guests across five staterooms.
Key features include a spacious beach club split into three terraces totalling 68 square metres. Like many of Alberto Mancini’s creations, Project Monaco’s main deck flows into her main saloon, emphasised by sliding doors.
Two cockpits are found fore and aft, while a tender garage is located in the bow. Elsewhere, a tender garage hosts a six metre tender and two Jet Skis which, once launched, frees the basin to fill with water and become a swimming pool.
Another exterior area of note is the expansive foredeck, which has enough room to throw cocktail parties. The upper deck is sheltered by a hardtop and boasts an additional al fresco dining area with panoramic views of the ocean. Meanwhile, Project Monaco is set to have a top speed of 16 knots.
The sale of Project Monaco marks the second Mangusta Oceano 50 sold by Moran Yacht & Ship, including the sale of the first hull Alisa, and the third project between the broker and the shipyard.
The second hull in the series, codenamed Project Verona, was sold to an American owner in 2021 and is also under construction at the shipyard.
Project Monaco’s asking price has been withheld.
