Morley Yachts signs Absolute for sale

Another newcomer to this column, Tim Morley of Morley Yachts in Antibes, writes in to say that he's signed the central agency for sale of the 24m classic motoryacht Absolute. Designed by Carlo Riva and built by De Vries in 1965, she was rebuilt and refitted in 2001/2002 and again in 2006, and is, says Tim "in stunning condition." *Absolute *accommodates up to eight guests in three cabins including two Pullman berths and is asking €1.9 million.

Morley continues to be a specialist in berth sales and Tim reports that construction of the new superport in Bizerte, Tunisia, is going well. There are seven 110m berths, twelve 60m berths and thirteen 40m berths, plus another 800 smaller ones. Tim is promoting these large berths for sale as the central agent and advises that prices are less than 10% of those in Antibes, while fuel costs less than half the price available in France or Italy.
