A new central agency has been announced on the 27.5-metre Claasen sailing yacht Acadia, now listed for sale with Pieter van der Weide of Hoek Brokerage.
Delivered in 2017 by the Dutch shipyard to the current owner, she is one of three Truly Classic 90 yachts. She was designed by Hoek Design Naval Architects, who also completed the naval architecture and interior, characterised by swietenia mahogany. In 2024, she had her most extensive yard period with all major items signed off.
Acadia can accommodate up to seven guests across four en-suite cabins, including a full-beam owner's suite with direct access to the aft deckhouse, a VIP double to port, another double to port and a bunk cabin to starboard. There is also space for a captain and two crew members to stay on board.
The raised central saloon provides panoramic views, combined with five pairs of skylights to ensure the lower deck is bathed in plenty of sunlight.
There are two options for entertaining on board, including twin cockpit areas with seating for up to eight guests. Suitable for all weather, they feature a Bimini that can fully enclose the area. The cockpit table features folding leaves and a built-in drinks cooler, making it a perfect spot for al fresco dining or sundowners.
The yacht for sale can reach speeds of up to 12 knots, with a cruising speed of 9 knots. The 70GT sailing yacht has a beam of 6 metres. Power comes from her Yanmar diesel engine.
Currently located in French Polynesia, Acadia is asking €4,300,000 with Hoek Brokerage.
