81m Oceanco superyacht Alfa Nero listed for sale

26 August 2025 • Written by Emily Dawkins

The 81.3-metre Oceanco superyacht Alfa Nero has rejoined the market with Richard Higgins of Northrop & Johnson.

At the time of her delivery in 2007, Alfa Nero marked the second-largest launch from the Dutch shipyard (pipped only by the then Indian Empress, now H3), commissioned by an experienced owner with a brief to combine bold design, advanced engineering and exceptional onboard comfort. And that she did, with "many of her original innovations now standard features on today’s large yachts", according to her broker.

17 years on and Alfa Nero remains one of the most iconic Oceanco superyachts on the water, not least for her distinctive black and white Nuvolari Lenard profile, with its low stern and minimal overhangs – deliberately different to yachts built at the same time.

Alfa Nero is asking €88,500,000

Oceanco's in-house team and Azure Yacht Design and Naval Architecture were responsible for her naval architecture, with the motor yacht constructed in steel and aluminium. She was last refitted in 2024 but has been extensively maintained since her launch.

According to BOATPro, Alfa Nero joins the market for the third time since her launch, not including her headline-hitting auction in 2023 following her abandonment in Antigua.

Inside, more than 1,250 square metres of living space and a 2,150GT interior volume have been curated by Italian designer Alberto Pinto. Pop-art and Art Deco influences characterise her living areas, with vibrant colour schemes, zig-zag woodwork, bold striped flooring and contemporary art by Lichtenstein and Murakami bringing the motor yacht to life.

The main saloon is a prime example, centred around a black lacquered Pleyel grand piano with multiple "oversized" seating options and retractable glass doors opening directly to the aft deck – home to one of the most recognisable pools in the industry. A first of its kind, the pool features a glass infinity waterfall side, and when drained, can rise to sit flush with the deck for additional entertaining space or even a helipad. Here, guests will also find a full wet bar, "banquette" seating and multiple sun loungers.

Her interior is adorned in lacquered panels, rich leather, wenge wood and precious metals

Heading upstairs, a welcoming upper saloon doubles as a surround-sound cinema, while aft, two sheltered seating areas invite quiet mornings or more social evening occasions. The top deck is equally as inviting, with a Jacuzzi surrounded by sunbeds.

Wellness amenities are prominent throughout Alfa Nero, including a top deck interior gym with 180-degree views connected to a steam room, a sauna on the main deck and a sea terrace, beauty salon and treatment rooms on the lower deck.

Accommodation on board is for 12 guests in a six-cabin layout, all accessible via a glass-enclosed lift which is enveloped by tall, illuminated crystal sculptures and a leather mosaic-lined staircase.

The master suite spans forward of the upper deck and includes a super king-sized bed, a spacious walk-in wardrobe with dressing table, a marble en suite,  a private office (with its own shower room) and a secluded terrace with a private Jacuzzi. The remaining guest cabins – comprising two VIPs, one double and two twins – are situated across the main and lower decks, one of which boasts direct spa access and a private sea terrace.

Her broker notes the individuality of the cabins, each one home to its own design and colour scheme – ranging from coral and blue to soft neutrals.

In terms of toys and tenders, a Vanquish VQ45 chase boat sets the standard, with other water toys including a jellyfish-protected sea pool, WaveRunners, Jetboards, SeaBobs, underwater scooters and wakeboards.

The Lloyd's registered yacht is also a popular charter yacht, cared for by a crew of 26.

Powered by twin MTU engines, the yacht for sale cruises at 18 knots with a range of 6,000 nautical miles and can reach a top speed of 20 knots. Key specs include a 14-metre beam and a 3.7-metre draft. She is also fitted with stabilisers at anchor and underway.

Currently lying in Greece, Alfa Nero is asking €88,500,000. She joins the list of the most expensive yachts for sale now.
