Oyster sailing yacht Sarafin sold

The 30.8 metre sailing yacht Sarafin listed for sale by Jamie Collins at Oyster Brokerage, has been sold in a direct deal.

Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Sarafin was built in composite by UK yard Oyster Marine to Lloyds class and MCA coded with delivery in 2011 and has had the same owner since new. A recent €745,000 refit included a new mainsail, both generators were completely rebuilt, an extensive service of the main engine and drive train, and new standing rigging.

Her interior joinery is finished in gloss walnut wood with headlining in off-white vinyl accommodating eight guests in three cabins consisting of a master suite and port and starboard twins, all with ample storage space, LCD television screens and en suite shower facilities. In addition, four crew are accommodated in two en suite cabins.

In the lower level saloon is comfortable seating, an entertainment centre including a 42 inch LCD television screen and a ship’s office. On deck, the guest cockpit is separated from the helmsman’s cockpit, but connected via a central walkway giving access to the aft and side decks offering lounging seats with padded backrests and life raft stowage beneath. Two cockpit tables with varnished teak tops and integral fridges lie to port and starboard for complete al fresco relaxation with a cool drink close to hand. All the hydraulic winches are by Lewar and she has a sail wardrobe by North and Doyle sails. Under power, a 355hp Cummins diesel engine gives her a cruising speed of 10 knots.

Sarafin was asking €6,950,000.
