$800,000 Price Drop on Feadship Motor Yacht Casual Water

11 December 2019 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

The 33.68 metre motor yacht Casual Water, listed for sale by James Wallace at IYC, has seen a further price reduction of $800,000.

Built in steel and aluminium by Dutch yard Feadship to a design by De Voogt, she was delivered in 1987 and has been refitted several times since. She received a new interior in 2007 in soft beiges with teak panelling by Marie Pottinger accommodating eight guests in four cabins. These consist of a master suite, double and twin, while on deck is a study that converts into a double cabin, and all have full en-suite facilities. In addition, there are quarters for five crew.

Casual Water is now asking $2,950,000

The spacious main saloon has comfortable settees and armchairs, soft lighting and an entertainment centre featuring a large screen television and a stereo surround sound system. Forward is a formal dining area that can be separated from the rest of the saloon for privacy. Sliding doors give access to the aft deck with seating for eight guests and a full wet bar, making it the go-to gathering place for al fresco cocktails and snacks.

Two 600hp Cummins diesel engines on this yacht for sale give her a range of 2,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.

The list of refits is extensive, with work carried out in 2007, 2011 and 2016. During these periods at the yard all woodwork was stripped down and built back up to a high gloss finish, the aft deck enclosure was removed and she also received new paint, and the engines were completely overhauled.

Currently lying in New England, Casual Water is now asking $2,950,000.
