Price drop on Lürssen superyacht Blind Date at Merle Wood and Burgess

There has been a price cut on the 40.94m Lürssen superyacht Blind Date, for sale with Merle Wood and Burgess – she has dropped $455,000 in price from $6,950,000 to $6,495,000.

Blind Date blends European building standards with a comfortable American-style interior design. While the superyacht was originally built for a European owner, she was refitted under her new American ownership in 2005 and received a complete interior overhaul. This included a new interior design by US-based yacht designer Patrick Knowles, who transformed Blind Date's interior to create a cool, calm ambience making her inviting and welcoming.

The nearly 50-metre Lürssen motor yacht was built in Germany to Bureau Veritas class in 1995. She is a fast, sleek yacht that dependably reaches a top speed of 22 knots, while her shallow draft grants access to hard-to-access but sought after harbours and cruising grounds. She accommodates eight guests in a master, VIP and two double cabins and has a range of 1,600 nautical miles at 10 knots.
