$1 million price drop on Lurssen superyacht Blind Date at Merle Wood and Burgess

News just in from Merle Wood & Associates of a $1 million price cut on their joint listing for sale with Burgess, the 40.94m motor yacht Blind Date.

Built by the German superyacht yard Lurssen to Bureau Veritas class, Blind Date was delivered in 1995 and is a fast, sleek yacht that dependably reaches a top speed of 22 knots, while her shallow draft grants access to hard-to-reach but sought after harbours and cruising grounds. She accommodates eight guests in a master, VIP and two double cabins - all with en suite facilities, and has a range of 1,600 nautical miles at 10 knots.

While Blind Date was originally built for a European owner, she was refitted under her current American ownership in 2005 and received a complete interior overhaul. This included a new interior design by US-based yacht designer Patrick Knowles, who transformed the interior to create a cool, calm ambience, making her inviting and welcoming.

On display at the Fort Lauderdale boat show, Blind Date is down to $4,995,000.
