I've just got off the phone to Julian Elfenbein at Burger Yacht Sales who says there's been a €100,000 price cut in the price of his central listing, the 32m motor yacht Clarissa.

This superyacht was built in aluminium by Poole Chaffee in 1977 and in 1999 went to All American Marine to be lengthened by five meters plus a full refit and repaint. Her full time crew and a lifetime of scheduled maintenance have ensured trouble free long range cruising including a transatlantic crossing from the USA to Greece in 2008.

Clarissa has a unique main deck with both an open and glass enclosed aft deck and her massive flybridge makes her ideal for entertaining. She's economical too, as her twin 650hp Detroit Diesel engines give her a range of 2,400 nautical miles burning a miserly 20 gallons per hour. She sleeps eight guests in four staterooms and the new asking price is €895,000.
