The 28.23 metre motor yacht Eva Sofia, listed for sale with Moran Yacht & Ship, has been sold with the buyer introduced by Marc Borderon at Peter Insull’s Yacht Marketing.
Designed by Officina Italiana Design, she was built in GRP by Italian yard Riva to RINA class and delivered in 2011 as a Riva Duchessa 92 model. Although MCA compliant, she has been used privately since delivery. An elegant interior accommodates eight guests in four cabins consisting of a master suite with its own private staircase, a VIP suite a double and a twin, all with entertainment centres and full en-suite bathroom facilities. In addition, there are quarters for three crew.
The saloon is panelled in warm Canaletto walnut contrasting with white wooden floorboards and has white leather sofas in a U-shaped configuration and a dining table forward with seating for eight guests.
Outdoor living areas are extensive and include the flybridge, with a full-size bar, a big, eight-seat dining table and a hard top with an additional electric awning and the cockpit, which is completely shaded by the overhead deck. The foredeck has a private high gloss table and built-in upholstered seating area protected by its own Bimini top. An innovation on the Duchessa 92 model is that the transom garage can host a tender measuring up to 3.2 metres in length as well as a Jet Ski.
Twin 2,435hp MTU diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 25 knots and she is fitted with gyroscopic zero-speed stabilisers.
Eva Sofia was asking €3,100,000 with tax paid.
