The 53-metre motor yacht KD has joined the market, listed by central agent Geoff Moore of West Nautical.
Built in Italy by Sanlorenzo in 2018, the extended Steel52 series' exterior is by Officina Italiana Design and interior is by Tiziana Vercellesi. She was a finalist in the BOAT International Design & Innovation Awards 2019.
Accommodating up to 12 guests in six cabins, the broker said, "she radiates tranquility, class and sophistication, with a range of innovative features resulting in the ultimate seafaring haven". The windows in the main deck owner’s suite have been customised to open, allowing fresh air and gentle noises from the surrounding natural environment in.
The remaining four guest cabins are located on the lower deck, comprising two spacious VIPs and two doubles – with Pullman berths – which can also be configured as twins. There are quarters for a crew of 11 in five cabins.
KD’s interior features leather, parquet, marbles, silk wallpaper, ebony veneers, mother of pearl inlays, and crystal handles throughout the guest areas, complemented by loose furniture from Fendi, including sofas, chairs and cushions in both the interior and exterior.
A glass-bottomed swimming pool, with sun pads either side, is the highlight of KD's aft deck. Sliding doors open into the open-plan saloon with its bar and dining area. On the sundeck is a Jacuzzi with a bar and grill amidships and plenty of seating and tables for al fresco dining. At night the deck can be transformed into a party zone with lights, a smoke machine and additional speakers.
Natural light fills KD's beach club from the glass-bottomed pool above on the main deck, "instilling a sense of calm throughout the area". When deployed, the beach club boasts freestanding furniture and a bar area, forward of which is a large gymnasium with Technogym equipment. The spacious swim platform can be extended with inflatable platforms.
The 499GT yacht for sale has completed her 5-year ABS class survey and benefits from refit work in 2023. KD's top speed is 18 knots and cruising speed 12 knots, under twin MTU diesels, and her cruising range is 4,000 nautical miles. She comes with a drive-in floodable garage for her 7.5-metre limousine tender, "uniquely fitted with Bentley lights", and has been privately used by one owner since new.
Lying in Turkey, KD is asking €33,000,000 with VAT paid.
