Superyacht Georgia sold by Northrop & Johnson and Westport

5 January 2012 • Written by Malcolm MacLean

It's a fast start to the year for Northrop & Johnson as Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford confirm the first sale of 2012, the 34.1m Georgia, which only came on the market with them at the end of October. Brian Long at Westport introduced the buyer.

Georgia is a nearly new Westport 112 designed by Jack Sarin. Launched in 2010 she has only 400 hours on her engines. She can accommodate up to 8 guests and has a cruising speed of 21 knots.

Georgia was asking $8,995,000.

Incidentally, Kevin is preparing for a marathon and a half this weekend in honour of Naval Architect Bill Langan who died just over a year ago. The money he raises will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
