A call to Claude Niek at CSO Yachts brings confirmation that he's signed the 23.34m sailing yacht Swallows and Amazons for sale and also that the 42.75m motor yacht Le Yana has had a €1 million price reduction.
Swallows and Amazons was built by France’s CNB yard in 2009 to a design by Philippe Briand. Her open-plan saloon layout was designed to provide practical comfort as well as aesthetic appeal. Accommodating eight guests in four double cabins, she would make an ideal family or charter yacht. The asking price is €3.7 million.
Le Yana (ex Macalulu) is a 42.75m motor yacht built by Baglietto to ABS class in 2007. MCA compliant, she has an interior by Pedro Pena accommodating 10 guests in a master suite plus two double and two twin cabins while twin 1950hp Caterpillar engines give this superyacht a range of 4,500 nautical miles at 12 knots. Le Yana is now asking €20 million.
