News now from Northrop & Johnson that Sean Doyle has joined the other nine sales brokers in the Fort Lauderdale office.

Hailing from South Africa, Sean developed a love of the sea at a very early age. Following his education at the Merchant Naval Academy, Sean served on merchant ships operating between South Africa and the Far East.

Sean began his private yachting career in 1988. During the next twelve years he served as the project manager on several new builds and captained numerous large yachts.

After making his home in South Florida, Sean joined Koch, Newton & Partners, making the successful transition from captain to yacht broker in 2000.

Koch, Newton & Partners was purchased by Merrill-Stevens in 2006, where Sean enjoyed continued success as a top broker specializing in the large yacht market. Following two years with Fraser Yachts, Sean joined Yachtzoo before making his latest move.

Says Kevin Merrigan, CEO of Northrop & Johnson, ‘I am delighted to welcome Sean as the newest member of our Fort Lauderdale office. He is very knowledgeable and assertive and will certainly prove to be an asset to the team.’
