The 33.8-metre sailing yacht Cygnus Montanus has been sold by Georges Bourgoignie of Fraser, who represented both buyer and seller.
Built in carbon fibre in New Zealand by Yachting Developments in 2016, Cygnus Montanus was conceived as a true performance cruiser with plenty of family space below for extended cruising. Built for an experienced owner, she is a lifting-keel sloop with a design by Germán Frers and an interior by Adam Lay Studio.
Below deck, she accommodates up to eight guests in four cabins which are finished in various shades of blue, white bulkheads and teak floors.
The layout includes a main deck saloon that stretches across the yacht's full eight-metre beam and is complete with large skylights, a spacious dining area and a concealed piano inside the dining table.
Meanwhile, her exterior deck is split into three cockpits, the largest of which serves as a dedicated social space, while the remaining two are reserved for sail operations with a twin helm station aft.
A Cummins diesel provides power to the 131GT sloop and she has been designed to sail with a minimal crew.
The asking price of Cygnus Montanus was not disclosed.
