Brokerage market round-up: May 21-25, 2018

SALES

12 yacht sales were announced during a steady week for the brokerage market. The total asking price was in excess of £50.4 million ($67.2 million), with the price of one yacht withheld, and the most active brokerage house was Denison Yachting, with two completed deals announced this week.

PRICE REDUCTIONS

Five price drops were announced on yachts for sale this week for a total reduction of £2.65 million ($3.5 million). One of the yachts had a price reduction of £1 million.

J Class yacht Ranger was the subject of a $1M price drop

NEW LISTINGS

Five yachts were listed for sale this week with a combined asking price in excess of £17.2 million ($22.9 million) with the price of two yachts withheld. The most expensive new listing was the 48.6 metre Alloy sailing yacht Georgia__, which is offered for sale with Fraser.
