Touted as the Land Rover of the seas thanks to her unstoppable yet stylish design, AKULA was launched in 2006, and is the result of a bet between an expert seaman, a naval engineer and a shipyard. Cantiere Navale di Pesaro, who were focusing on building commercial ships at the time, tasked Stefano Carletti and Sergio Cutolo to find a new build project that met a demanding checklist of characteristics. The new yacht should be designed to cope with all weather conditions, while offering comfort aboard. She had to be economical and energy efficient, while not polluting air or water. She had to last as long as a commercial ship, while not looking outdated after two years. This is how AKULA was born.

At just 24 metres long and with an impressive 6,000nm range at 9 knots, AKULA can travel and anchor anywhere in the world. Which is exactly what she was designed to do. Her technical characteristics, including her stabilisers and impressive 7.53m beam, unique for a yacht of her size, make AKULA the perfect Mini Explorer yacht. Her extensive storage and fuel economy are perfect for those seeking an autonomous life at sea. AKULA’s ingenious cabin layout allows for a VIP cabin, unheard of for a yacht of her size, along with a full-beam master cabin and two twin cabins – accommodating a total of eight guests.

AKULA’s interior oozes a charming seafaring spirit complemented by light and dark woods, carefully selected for their scent, designed to spark memories of the time spent at sea. The generously sized salon and dining area on the main deck ensure a luxury cruising experience. From a privacy perspective, the crew can move seamlessly between the bridge on the upper deck to the crew areas on the main deck, thanks to their own separate access. AKULA boasts a variety of exterior deck areas ideal for on-the-water living, while still leaving room for up to a 6.5m tender and additional water toys. The upper deck and flybridge areas are perfect for relaxing in the sun, while enjoying the elevated views. The main aft deck area is ideal for sundowners and al fresco dining. With her current owner having invested just under 2 million EUR from 2014 onwards, she is in great condition and ready to continue sharing her seafaring spirit with a new owner.
