What happens when the bespoke ideas of knowledgeable owners who’ve enjoyed decades on the water coalesce with the creative talents of exterior designer Guido de Groot and interior designer Carla Guilhem? 

The answer is the powerful Project ONE, a full-displacement 34-metre superyacht with twin Volvo Penta 750 hp continuous duty engines and a top speed of 14.4 knots.  All  four decks have been designed to meet specific needs on a yacht with a fold-out platform aft and a lazarette for jet-skis that will be a superb relaxation area in its own right. In fact, everything about Project ONE revolves around entertaining large groups of people in style on a compact boat with lots of volume.

 The exterior design showcases the owner's fondness for straight lines, with all angles pointing in the same direction going forward and the fashion plates aft rising to the hardtop in a continuous line. Note, too, the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the salon with doors that open aft and to the portside dining area, plus the expansive al fresco seating areas.

Another custom idea is an asymmetrical sky lounge on the bridge deck which generates an extra beam for a better flow in that area. Other highlights include a master suite with a large walk-in wardrobe and a lower deck laundry station with a large washer/drier capacity. A walk-through from the laundry into the guest corridor is facilitated by a watertight bulkhead door fitted for damage stability. Enormous attention has been paid to storage, with all spaces under sunbeds and sofas utilised. Carla Guilhem has been given carte blanche to create a unique interior style.
