30 Seconds on Board: The World’s Coolest Yacht Videos

Our 30 Seconds On Board video series dives into the world’s coolest superyachts for a whistle-stop tour of their interiors, revealing hidden secrets and star features…

Itasca

The famed 53.6 metre explorer yacht Itasca was originally built in 1961 by Dutch yard J&K Smit as one of four oceangoing salvage tugs, of which it is the only survivor. After being converted into a superyacht in 1973, Itasca has circumnavigated the world three times. Accommodation on board is for a total of 10 guests in five cabins. The yacht also features a helicopter pad, complete with a refuelling system.

Mirabilis

Delivered in 2018, the 33 metre Custom Line superyacht Mirabilis was designed by Zuccon International Project with Ferretti Engineering Department developing the naval architecture. Her interior design was also created in-house while accommodation is for a total of 11 guests and a staff of six.

White Rabbit

Echo Yachts' 84 metre White Rabbit took the mantle as the world's largest trimaran as soon as it was delivered in November last year. Designed by Sam Sorgiovanni, with One2Three developing the naval architecture, White Rabbit has huge interior volumes and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

Gene Machine

Owned by American chemical engineer and biologist Dr Jonathan Rothberg, it isn’t hard to understand where Gene Machine got her name. Key on board features include a Finding Nemo-themed beach club and a laboratory, which Rothberg installed for his daughter’s use. A model from Amels’s successful Limited Editions 180 series, Gene Machine features exterior design by Tim Heywood and interior design by Enzo Ensea. Accommodation on board is for a total of 14 guests and 16 crew.

Princess S78

Flagship of Princess's S-class, the 24.6 metre S78 can reach a top speed of 39 knots and accommodates a total of eight guests in four ensuite cabins. A further aft cabin accommodates a maximum crew of three.

Minderella

Currently for sale with Y.CO, this 57.3 metre Feadship was designed by Mauro Micheli with Frits De Voogt developing the naval architecture. Built in steel and aluminium, Minderella sleeps 10 guests in five cabins.

Iceman

Currently listed for sale with KK Superyachts for an asking price of €4,500,000, Iceman was delivered in 2009. Accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins and quarters for four crew. Iceman also features a private sunbathing spot on the foredeck, complete with sun pads and Jacuzzi. The large open-plan saloon meanwhile has port and starboard black leather settees, coffee table and a bar.

Gladiator

Built to full Lloyd’s and MCA class and delivered in 2010, this 44.65 metre yacht was recently sold in August 2018. She was designed by Feadship de Voogt and Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design and can host up to ten guests in five cabins. Her large sundeck features a Jacuzzi while a spacious swimming platform sits on the aft deck. Her toy store meanwhile accommodates a steam room and plenty of toys including Jet Skis, SeaBobs and a 6.7 metre tender. Gladiator is currently listed for sale and charter with Y.CO.

Okto

We hoped on board this 66.4 motor yacht at the Superyacht Show in Barcelona. She was delivered by Italy’s ISA yard in 2014 and built to Northern European specifications and standards. Special features include a touch and go helipad, six metre swimming pool, guest elevator, owners’ balcony and four tender garages.

Horizon RP110

The RP110 is one of Horizon Yachts' most popular models and it's not hard to see why. Introduced in 2013, this 35.35 metre motor yacht has gone on to spawn five hulls in the following four years. We stepped on board Horizon RP110/04 at the 2017 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to see the secrets of this Espinosa design's success.
