Sirena Marine shows 25m and 20m sailing superyacht designs at Monaco Yacht Show

2 October 2013

At the recent Monaco Yacht Show the Turkish builder Sirena Marine unveiled 25m and 20m sailing superyacht models based on its 16m Euphoria 54 sailing superyacht, currently in-build.

The German Frers-designed Euphoria range of contemporary designs is intended to offer both performance and a sea kindly, safe sailing experience with easy handling. The boats will be built using vinylester resin-injected moulding methods to offer a strong and lightweight hull and deck.

‘Three models is a powerful start and we’re hoping to develop for the new century,’ says Frers. ‘I’m putting all my experience into these boats – not only of sailing but also of cruising and living aboard with a family.’

Like the three-cabin 16m, the 20m design is a ‘modern, high tech, comfortable design to enjoy living outside as well as below deck,’ says Frers, but will offer more volume and the option of an extra cabin.

‘The (25m) is what I found to be the next logical step,’ says Frers. ‘It would offer two possible layouts, very good performance, twin rudders and push button control.’

The creation of the Euphoria line represents a substantial investment for Sirena Marine. 'The Euphoria range offers a unique combination: German Frers’ world-leading design excellence, our high-quality craftsmanship and a comprehensive specification,' says Ipek Kirac, chief executive of Sirena Marine. 'Buyers will find that, just like the 54 (16m), the new Euphoria 68 (20m) and 84 (25m) represent outstanding value in luxury home-from-home blue water cruising.'
