25m superyacht under construction at Arkin Pruva Argos Yachts

Burnett Yacht Design is working with Arkin Pruva Argos Yachts in Antalya, Turkey, on the construction of a new 25.33m schooner for a British client.

The hull and deck structure is nearing completion using wood epoxy methods and benefits from the combined experience of the yard, designer and owner’s surveyor Richard Ayers. The rig and deck gear will be supplied by Formula Marine, with aluminium spars built at their facility in The Netherlands. Sails will come from Doyle’s Istanbul loft.

The yacht is intended for swift and relaxed cruising with a modest crew; the versatile rig will provide engaging and accessible sailing for those on board, and the layout gives plenty of open deck space for enjoyment both under way and at anchor.

Accommodation is for an owner’s party of six, with scope for two additional guests to sleep in the deck house.

The yacht is scheduled for completion in May 2011.
