A first look inside the 58.3-metre SeaXplorer Pink Shadow has been offered by her central agency for charter, Y.CO. Delivered by Damen Yachting this August, the custom explorer yacht was sold during construction – allowing the owner to offer "considerable input" into her design.
Exteriors are owed to Azure Yacht Design, with Damen Yachting completing the naval architecture. The yacht also features a number of contributions from design partner EYOS Expeditions.
Accommodation is across six main deck cabins, with the owner's cabin featuring a lounge area, a separate bed chamber and a bathroom with steam shower. There is further space for 17 crew.
Her richly-coloured, eclectic interiors are courtesy of Design Unlimited and inspired by the Amazonian adventure-drama Fitzcarraldo. The theme continues with "The Habana Room", an upper deck cigar lounge made complete with bespoke humidor. Meanwhile, a major communal space is found on the sundeck, arranged with a large dining table, Jacuzzi pool, interior bar and lounge area. "Even the bridge has characteristic style and flair", according to the broker, thanks to a crocodile teeth table and sofa.
Fitted with a central bar, seating and Jacuzzi pool, the beach club (christened "The Tahiti Plage") nearly stretches across half of the yacht's 11-metre beam. Balconies can be opened to extend the space further, while sunpads are cleverly suspended above the water by Pink Shadow's tender cranes. The swim platform can be used as a launch pad for the yacht’s fleet of toys (including two tenders, four Seabobs and two Jet Skis) or as a setting for "on-the-water barbecues."

From summer 2024, Pink Shadow will be available for charter at a weekly rate of $510,000 USD. She was recently announced as a finalist for the BOAT Design and Innovation Awards.
