Alloy Yachts begins construction of superyacht AY44

New Zealand's Alloy Yachts has begun construction of AY44, a new 39m explorer motor yacht due for completion in 2012.

This superyacht has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure designed by René Van der Velden with an interior by Redman Whiteley Dixon. The owner's representative is Peter Wilson of MCM, who has worked on several projects with Alloy Yachts.

AY44 is being built to Lloyds 100 A1 SSC Yacht Mono G6 MCH, UMS and compliance with Large Yacht 2.
