Heysea delivers first 42m Asteria 139 motor yacht

The first Asteria 139 motor yacht has been delivered to its owner by Chinese shipyard Heysea Yachts.

The sales contract was signed by Tony Ross of Ensign Yachts. in partnership with Heysea Australia and construction began in 2018.

Built entirely in GRP, the Asteria 139 has a length of 42.2 metres, a beam of 8.5 metres and a draft of 2.06 metres, with exterior and interior design by VYD Studio.

She offers accommodation for 12 guests across six cabins comprising a master suite, three VIP cabins and two doubles across three decks. A neural palette of creams, greys and accents of hammered metal continue throughout.

Guests enter the main saloon from the aft deck through sliding glass doors and are greeted by a spacious main saloon with a large L-shaped sofa and bar to starboard. An entertainment centre is positioned centrally and acts as a divider between the saloon and formal forward dining area where 10 guests are seated beneath a glass chandelier.

Exterior highlights include a rectangular Jacuzzi on the sun deck and al fresco dining area seating up to 12 guests, with a spacious foredeck and beach club ensuring seamless access to the water.

Overall she offers 431GT of internal volume and a semi-displacement hull ensures efficiency and stability when cruising. With twin Caterpillar C32 1,900hp engines, she can reach a top speed of 17 knots with a cruising speed of 14 knots.

Construction on the second hull is already underway, ordered by a Chinese owner who also purchased a 14.6 metre and a 17.6 metre model from the yard.
