Baltic Yachts of Finland has launched its latest sailing superyacht with the new Baltic 116 Custom.
Baltic Yachts revealed its contract for the 35.5-metre sailing yacht in November 2013. She will be a head-turner with a striking red hull and timeless exterior lines courtesy of Nauta Yacht Design. She features a wraparound window on the deckhouse and integrated fixed bimini top in carbon fibre.
With Naval architecture is by Judel/Vrolijk & Co, the Baltic 116 sailing superyacht has been designed for both bluewater cruising and also have high performance. She is built in vacuum-infused sandwich carbon laminate, weighs only 94,350 kg and has a lifting keel with a draught ranging from 3.50 to 5.50 metres. The build has been managed by Nigel Ingram at MCM.
Nauta is also responsible for the interior, which will accommodate eight guests in four cabins, including a forward master suite and two guest cabins. There are also three cabins, a crew mess and navigation area for crew set aft. She has a raised deck saloon with large table for eight to 10 guests.
Delivery of the Baltic 116 is scheduled for late autumn 2014.
