Italian yard Benetti has held its 19th annual Yachtmaster event at the yard’s Livorno facility.
The three-day event saw more than 200 industry professionals, including owners, captains and crew, join together for a bumper programme of workshops, seminars and activities.
These included a tour of the Livorno shipyard to view the in-build Benetti superyachts and presentations of the yard’s new Diamond 145 and Oasis 40M.
Team building activities focused on survival in extreme conditions while seminars covered topics including weather forecasting and personnel risk management.
Speaking at the event, Benetti and Azimut group chairman Paolo Vitelli thanked Fraser, Lusben and Yachtique for attending the event. “Being here with you, in our beautiful shipyard, is a source of great pride for me,” he said.
The yard also revealed its ambition to launch 20 yachts this year, including the third and final 100m+ in-build superyacht.
It comes after the yard launched the first 100m+ superyacht, the 107 metre Project FB277, at the end of last year. The second 107.6 metre Project FB272 followed last month.
