Alunya: First look at Benetti's second B.Now 50M with Oasis Deck

Benetti has offered an exclusive first look inside its 49.9-metre Alunya, the second B.Now 50M to be fitted with an Oasis Deck. She was sold in May 2023 to a buyer introduced by TWW Yachts.

According to a statement from the yard, the experienced owner worked closely alongside Benetti's in-house design team on exacting his precise design and configuration requests for Alunya's interior spaces.

The main lounge is furnished with a series of low tables by Paolo Castelli and armchairs by Minotti and Cassina

Part of the owner's personalisation called for a five-cabin guest configuration on the lower deck – not including the main deck owner's suite, which was finished with a study, Calacatta Borghini marble ensuite and private terrace. Interiors are owed to Benetti's Interior Design Department, with an aesthetic that revolves around "efficiency", "harmony" and "order". The materials used include curly maple wood and Ziricote – "one of the most highly valued woods of all time" and only available in Brazil and Nicaragua.

The main saloon is fitted with a sliding veranda door that leads to the upper deck lounge, featuring a sunbathing area and furniture by Paola Lenti.

British design studio RWD is responsible for the yacht's exterior styling, having also conceived Benetti's signature Oasis Deck. In a marriage of the two designs, Alunya replaced the traditional stern of the B.Now series with two hydraulic winged terraces port and starboard that extend the width of the deck to create a 90-square-metre beach club. The outdoor living area offers 270-degree views from the vessel's stern, with large sunpads and a glass-walled infinity pool to complete the space. The sundeck is another important convivial area arranged with dining space, seating and "American bar".

The garage forward on the main deck has ample space for a Jet Ski, numerous water toys and a 5.7-metre tender, which can be launched and hauled up through a hydraulically operated hatch that opens on the starboard side. The second garage can be opened on three sides to store a rescue tender and an 11-metre chase boat.

This reveal follows the launch of Alunya's sistership Amantis in Livorno.
