Brokerage firm Royal Yacht International (RYI) has announced the sale of the 15th hull in Benetti's Motopanfilo 37M series, which is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery in summer 2027.
The yacht was sold with Tommaso Chiabra, CEO of RYI, representing the buyer, with assistance from JC Weller.
"The sale of this Benetti Motopanfilo new build, our second new-build project with Benetti this month, is a further testament to the strong relationship between our teams," commented Chiabra. "We are thrilled to embark on this exciting project and look forward to working closely with Benetti to bring our client’s vision to life."
The Motopanfilo 37M stands as a reinterpretation of Benetti's popular designs from the 1960s, developed "through a contemporary lens", with a focus on expansive volume, continuous indoor-outdoor living and long-range cruising capabilities.
The model has been designed for owners seeking both elegance and functionality, with Francesco Struglia behind the exterior, Pierluigi Ausonio for the naval architecture (in collaboration with Benetti) and Lazzarini Pickering Architetti for the interiors.
A standout design element of the Motopanfilo 37M includes structural ribs – "like the skeleton of a whale", RYI noted – throughout the interior, said to create spaces that are dynamic while honouring the traditional feeling of being on board a ship.
According to BOATPro, Benetti currently has 39 superyacht projects in development, including three units from its new Motopanfilo 45M yacht series, the third hull of which was sold at the start of this week.
