Third Benetti Motopanfilo 45M sold with 2028 delivery

27 October 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

Italian shipyard Benetti has announced the sale of the third unit from its Motopanfilo 45M yacht series. The 45.6-metre new build has been commissioned by a "renowned Italian entrepreneur" and will be the first from the line to feature a distinct blue hull. Delivery is scheduled for late 2028.

The model was first unveiled in 2023 as the flagship offering from the yard's Motopanfilo range of superyachts, presented as a "contemporary reinterpretation" of Benetti's historic Motopanfilo line from the 1960s, with masculine exterior lines from the boards of British studio RWD.

Azimut|Benetti Group’s R&D Department is behind the naval architecture, which has been designed to deliver long-range cruising capabilities with efficiency and comfort.

A defining feature of the series is Benetti's new "Veranda Deck" concept, which opens the main deck saloon on three sides to create an open space overlooking the aft deck infinity pool and beach area

For the third unit, the owner – who, according to Benetti, has extensive yachting experience and a lifelong passion for the sea – sought a highly personalised design, choosing interior designer Valentina Zanier to develop the interior and exterior deck areas in close collaboration with his wife. The sale was completed in collaboration with Italian brokerage firm Kora Marine.

The model's low, slender profile and distinct slanted windows draw inspiration from the original Motopanfilo design, reinterpreted through clean lines, flush decks and large glazed surfaces. In a contemporary approach, rectangular windows alternate with classic round portholes along the hull, with a full-beam (measuring 9.1 metres) superstructure designed to offer generous interior volumes filled with natural light.

Accommodation is for up to ten guests in a five-cabin layout, including an owner’s suite spanning over 60 square metres, with a further five cabins for nine crew members. The model is expected to reach a maximum speed of 15 knots and a range of 4,100 nautical miles at 10 knots.

The first unit in the Motopanfilo 45M series was also sold at the start of this year and is scheduled for delivery in H1 2027.
