Yesterday (March 15) Benetti launched its latest B.Now 50M superyacht at its Livorno facilities. The yacht, bearing the project name FB605, hit the water as the yard’s latest addition to the B.Now family designed by exterior designers at RWD. The in-house team at Benetti is responsible for the naval architecture.
The new 50-metre yacht was built for an experienced female owner who the yard says “was impressed by the style and design of 107-metre Lana and the Oasis 34M, and wanted to replicate these two in their own yacht, which has many of the features typically found on much larger custom vessels.”
A key part of the yacht’s design is the trademarked Oasis Deck, and FB605 is the first B.Now yacht to feature the aft deck solution. The Oasis Deck is an open-air beach club with unfolding terraces wings and an integrated infinity pool. With optional biminis for shade, the al fresco space offers guests a seamless journey from the main saloon to the water.
The interior designers in the Benetti Style Department worked in close collaboration with the owner to bring a “timeless elegance” to FB605. The interior features marble that the owner chose herself, and settings that alternate in light and dark colourways. Curly maple wood panels adorn the walls with printed leather inserts.
Golden materials, Lalique crystal and custom onyx lamps can also be found on board, as well as Armani fabrics on the guest cabin walls and a Hermes sofa and armchair in the upper deck lounge.
Although the B.Now range is optimised for chartering, it is not yet known if FB605 will be kept private or for charter.
