Charter opportunity for motor yacht Mogambo with Hill Robinson

1 August 2012

Exciting news reaches us from Hill Robinson that new motor yacht Mogambo has an opening in her busy charter schedule from 6 to 18 August.

The 2012-launched 73.55m Nobiskrug, which was the star of this year’s Genoa charter show, features full-height windows, wide open spaces inside and out, including a sundeck with gym, spa pool, a beachclub with massage, hairdressing, beauty and steam rooms and an alfresco cinema.

Her Reymond Langton interior seamlessly combines a subtle African theme with 1950s glamour, while the exterior styling (also by Reymond Langton Design) is distinctly masculine. Throughout the boat guests can enjoy a state-of-the-art television and AV system, while the sky lounge features a huge 3D television.

Mogambo sleeps 12 guests in accommodation comprising a master suite (with a study, fold-out balcony and full-beam cabin) plus a VIP cabin and four double cabins – all of which can be converted to twins.

She carries a 11.58m Novurania Chase 38 tender and a 7.5m Novurania Launch 750, as well as a Sea Bob, four jet skis, wake boards, water skis, knee boards, inflatable towables and snorkelling equipment.

Mogambo’s twin MTU engines offer a maximum speed of 17.3 knots and a 5,000nm range at the 14 knot cruising speed, while Quantum Zero Speed Stabilisers reduce roll. The crew of 16 is headed by captain Phil Walsh.

Mogambo charters at a weekly rate of €600,000 per week during high season and €550,000 per week for low season. The high season rate will apply during the 6 to 18 August charter opportunity, when she will be available in the western Med.
