Heesen's 50-metre hybrid yacht Cinderella Noel IV has been handed over to her owners after successfully completing sea trials. Representatives for the owner said they had seldom experienced such "intense involvement of clients before, showing so much enthusiasm and enjoyment for the yacht and appreciation for everybody [at] Heesen".

According to the yard, the yacht's performance during sea trials exceeded expectations and "generated a lot of confidence". Heesen captain Bob van Zundert said it was "a privilege to have clients on board during the tests, and we enjoyed letting them see what their new yacht is capable of.”

The steel-built superyacht officially began construction in October 2021 under the project name YN 20150, Project Oslo24. Throughout the build, the smart custom yacht had every aspect tailored to the owner's "close involvement and personal understanding of life at sea". Onboard features include reinforced insulation for operating in high northern fjords and waterways, heated floors, winter tents and mosquito nets.

With an exterior penned by Clifford Denn, Cinderella Noel IV 's extensive customisation includes a hybrid propulsion system, alongside a second steering position on the flybridge and a foldable mast for navigating bridge passages. Leisure highlights include a glass-bottomed pool and firepit.

Conceived for extended stays with his and hers working spaces, the owners worked closely with Luca Dini Design and Architecture and Heesen's engineering team on the yacht's layout. Interior imagery has not been released, but the décor has been described as "Scandinavian chic" by the shipyard, designed largely for ease of maintenance. Details include high-gloss Indian rosewood, dark oak flooring and loose furniture from Cassina, Paola Lenti and Toso.

Cinderella Noel IV is powered by twin MTU 8V4000 M63 (IMO Tier III) engines, paired with 135kW Danfoss electric motors on the same propeller shaft. This allows the yacht to operate in one of three modes – silent, economy and cruising. Silent mode is effective at up to 8.5 knots.

Rick van de Wetering, Heesen's chief operating officer, said: "It has been a pleasure to build Cinderella Noel IV and work so closely with her owners on a yacht that fits them like a glove and can take them safely wherever they want to go."

The yacht was originally known as Project Oslo24

He added: "During the past 41 months, we have built a strong bond with our energetic clients and their teams, and we will miss them in the yard. We look forward to their updates on the great adventures they will have aboard their wonderful yacht. On behalf of everyone at the shipyard, we wish them fair winds and following seas!"
