Third 24m Circa Marine explorer yacht sold and under construction

13 July 2026 • Written by Emily Dawkins

New Zealand shipyard Circa Marine has announced the sale of the third unit from its 24-metre Adventurer yacht range. Construction is already underway at the yard's facilities in Whangārei, with the keel now laid. The project's launch, sea trials and delivery are expected over the next 18 months.

The new build was sold to an American owner who initially sought an existing 19.8-metre FPB64 model before opting for a customised new build. The sale was managed by Shaun Sutherland, director of brokerage firm Ocean Vault and exclusive sales representative for Circa Marine.

The yacht has been designed as the next generation of adventure yacht, according to the yard, combining efficiency with comfort, while remaining "rugged and predictable in all conditions". The all-aluminium build can be owner-operated or accommodate crew for longer passages when desired, and offers several customisations and configurations.

Twin Scania DI09 engines are paired with large propellers to produce what the yard describes as "the most fuel-efficient vessel ever built by Circa Marine".

The second hull, Deo Juvante, was launched in 2022, a year after the first, Mollymawk
