Hull and superstructure joined on Conrad C144S

23 February 2021 • Written by Miranda Blazeby

The steel hull and aluminium superstructure have been joined on one of two Conrad semi-custom C144S superyachts currently under construction in Poland.

The exteriors of the 44 metre full-displacement motor yacht models have been penned by Reymond Langton while naval architecture comes courtesy of Diana Yacht Design.

The first hull is due for delivery to its Swiss owner in May 2022 and is also destined for international charter use.

The 494GT interior has been designed by M2 Atelier and will feature accommodation for 10 guests in an owner’s suite and four VIP cabins.

The crew quarters meanwhile will consist of four double cabins and a dedicated captain’s cabin on the bridge. Interiors will be spacious and light filled thanks to the installation of large panoramic windows.

Construction on the second hull, meanwhile, began on-spec in December 2020. The model is scheduled for delivery at the end of 2022, and has already had its keel laid, which took place in mid-December 2020.

Both yachts will feature a beach club on the lower deck, open-air cinema, two bars, two dining areas and an infinity swimming pool on the sundeck.

Power will come from twin Cat C18 Acert engines for a top speed of 13 knots and range of 4,000 nautical miles at 10 knots. Both hulls will be fully Lloyd Register and MCA certified.
